Dear Colleague,

The Union of European Phoniatricians (UEP) and the European Academy of Phoniatrics (EAP) regret to announce the cancellation of the 6th EAP course in its physical form at the dates of 3-6th of December 2020, due to the obvious cause, the COVID pandemic.

However, we are most happy to offer you a twofold solution:
1° The course will be delayed with one year, towards autumn 2021 (exact dates will be communicated on the website in due time)
2° The physical meeting is transformed into a virtual conference at the foreseen dates of 4th and 5th of December 2020. The detailed program will also be posted on the website before soon.

The participants who already have paid their fee can attend the webinars in December 2020 as well as the physical course in 2021. New registrants can find the prices at https://www.eap2020.com/general-information.

An appropriate link to the virtual course will be sent shortly on beforehand to all registered participants.

We apologize for all inconveniences. Although we did our utmost, this evolution proved inevitable. We thank you for your understanding. Keep well and safe,

Mieke Moerman, vice president of the UEP
On behalf of the entire UEP/EAP board and course faculty

Advanced course on Dysphagia

Dear Colleague,

After a very pleasant and fruitful 5th course in Zagreb, Croatia, we are pleased to welcome you to the 6th course of the European Academy of Phoniatrics: “Advanced course on dysphagia” in Bruges, Belgium. Bruges is a fairy-tale beauty, especially at spring time when the swans bob up and down the canals and the daffodils accentuate the romantic atmosphere. Bruges has become a favorite touristic attraction, not only during the holiday of May 1st. And how wonderful it is to be welcomed in the medieval city hall, by the alderman of culture!

The Course comprises all aspects of dysphagia, from screening over diagnosis to therapy and from neonates over children to elderly. The highly esteemed faculty addresses all subjects in depth and is open for questions or debate during the entire course. An amiable and relaxed atmosphere is a characteristic of the EAP/UEP.

Looking forward to having a good time in Bruges with YOU!
